Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

MONDAY: Reuben sandwiches on marble rye bread, sauerkraut, celery and carrot sticks, peaches and cookies.

TUESDAY: Lemon baked fish, parsley buttered potatoes, seasoned zucchini, Waldorf salad, whole wheat rolls, apple butter and cantaloupe chunks.

WEDNESDAY: Honey apricot chicken, wild and long grain rice, California blend vegetables, fresh orange sections, whole wheat bread and unsalted margarine.

THURSDAY: Joe’s ribs, broccoli with cheese sauce, baked beans, pineapple, apple pie and ice cream.

FRIDAY: Center is closed for New Year’s Day.

Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Grilled turkey and Swiss sandwiches on sourdough bread, carrots and peas, potato wedges and Mandarin oranges.

TUESDAY: Tomato soup, black bean salad, whole wheat low-sodium crackers, bread pudding and orange and banana juice.

WEDNESDAY: Shepherd’s pie, fresh spinach, low-sodium Italian dressing, apricot bran muffins, peach butter and bananas.

THURSDAY: Breaded fish squares, tartar sauce, rice pilaf, coleslaw, whole wheat bread, pears and cookies.

FRIDAY: Center is closed for New Year’s Day.

Douglas County Senior Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane:

MONDAY: Grilled corned beef with sauerkraut and Swiss cheese on sourdough bread, coleslaw, roasted potatoes and spiced sliced apples.

TUESDAY: Spinach lasagna, steamed cauliflower, garden salad with honey dressing, orange and banana juice and cherry and apricot granola cups.

WEDNESDAY: Baked meatloaf, rice casserole, beets in orange sauce, celery sticks, baby carrots, seven grain bread and bananas.

THURSDAY: Chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta, Caesar salad, green beans, garlic bread, apple cider, peach pie and vanilla ice cream.

FRIDAY: Center is closed for New Year’s Day.

Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Turkey bean soup, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches, orange spinach salad and pears.

TUESDAY: Southwest pene and cheese, zucchini salad, garlic bread, citrus delight and cranberry juice.

WEDNESDAY: Herb garlic chicken, stewed tomatoes, baked potatoes with margarine and sour cream and strawberry shortcake.

THURSDAY: Tomato soup, holiday subs, baby carrots and bananas.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: Center is closed for New Year’s Day.

Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Meatball subs and fries.

TUESDAY: Chicken casserole, broccoli, cucumber salad and rolls.

WEDNESDAY: Pork roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and salad.

THURSDAY: Center is closed for New Year’s Eve.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 10-11: Center is closed for New Year’s Day.

Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Country style spare ribs, potatoes, beans, coleslaw and tapioca.

TUESDAY: Chicken cordon bleu, rice pilaf, vegetables and cake.

WEDNESDAY: Hamburgers, potatoes, baked beans, fruit and bread pudding.


FRIDAY: Center is closed for New Year’s Day.
