Carson City couple celebrates 60 years of marriage

Carson City residents Juanita and Benny C. Crocker, who married on Jan. 21, 1955, in Virginia City, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

The Crockers met in high school when they were 17, and at age 19, they wed.

Benny, a musician, was a certified residential appraiser. Juanita worked at a telephone company in California.

The couple has three children, Mikeael Dean Crocker of Saratoga, Calif.; Linda Oreta Sigari of Minden; and Kathy June Beamer of Minden; and two grandchildren, Tony and Christy Crocker.
