Minden woman named to Dean’s List

Jennifer Hockaday of Minden was named to the Dean’s List for part-time students at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D., for the fall 2014 semester.

To make the list, students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while taking at least a dozen credit hours.

Area students excel at California university

Simpson University in Redding, Calif., named more than 275 students to its fall 2014 Dean’s List, including Dalton Grisell of Gardnerville and Dillon Stetler of Zephyr Cove.

Student must have a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher to make the list.

Carson woman named to Dean’s List

Olivia Reimer of Carson City was named to the fall 2014 Dean’s List at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

The list included students from 17 states and three foreign countries who earned at least a 3.5 grade-point average while taking at least 12 graded credit hours of classes.
