A beautiful day for a (Death) Ride

Death Riders make their way back north on Hwy. 89 towards Markleeville Saturday after climbing both Monitor and Ebbetts pass. Perfect weather greeted the cyclists this year after the Washington Fire and thunderstorms ravaged the area the past few weeks.

Death Riders make their way back north on Hwy. 89 towards Markleeville Saturday after climbing both Monitor and Ebbetts pass. Perfect weather greeted the cyclists this year after the Washington Fire and thunderstorms ravaged the area the past few weeks.

The Death Ride - Tour of the California Alps took place Saturday. The ride is more than 120 miles over five mountain passes and 15,000 feet of climbing.
