Carson City’s Life Made Easy delivers

Life Made Easy, LLC, of Carson City started this month as a delivery service for people who need items such as pharmaceuticals, groceries or want to send gifts to others.

Greg Krasovec, the founder, said he’s a 44 year capital city resident, a Carson High School graduate and worked for 15 years as a pharmacy technician before striking out on his own after conducting a market study regarding need and business feasibility.

“Basically, everyone told us, ‘Yeah, this would be a great thing for our community,’” Krasovec said. He said he had help in getting started from the Adams Hub, including fashioning the survey designed to determine if he was good to go. He said he has the proper licensing and insurance and uses a light truck for pickups and deliveries in the region.

“So far I’ve got a lot of irons in the fire,” said the business owner. Among them, he said, are contacts with Dream Dinners to make deliveries, contacts with pharmacies and Carson Tahoe Hospital or other medical service providers to provide rack cards so people can learn his services are available.

He said, for example, after someone has undergone an operation or hospital treatment and is bedridden or home bound he can pick up prescription medications at drug stores or groceries at supermarkets to deliver them to such people. He said he charges $10, for example, to pick up pharmaceuticals and drop them off at someone’s residence.

For grocery shopping help and delivery, he said, his firm charges $20 for up to $100 worth of items and $5 more for each $50 in additional items. In other words, he said, $200 in groceries delivered would cost the customer $30 additional and people can settle up the entire bill upon delivery.

Additional uses of Life Made Easy, according to Krasovec, are delivery of such things as gifts or flowers going from one person to a resident of the area or to people at a business site. He said his service area for any delivery he makes includes Reno, Lake Tahoe, Minden-Gardnerville, Mound House and Dayton, along with Carson City.

“The big cities, and even Reno, have this service available and now Carson City can rest easy knowing that a delivery service can provide a solution,” he said. He referred to his limited liability company as a new concierge/delivery firm. He touted the convenience, citing the medications and groceries delivery aspects as just part of what he offers.

“I delivered two flower arrangements and a birthday cake to a business,” he said, citing a business owner’s realization two employees there shared the same birth date. “They jumped on my website, made a list, hit submit and Life Made Easy solved the dilemma,” said Krasovec. He said his website’s address is www.gregdelivers.com. He said he accepts payment in checks or by debit and credit cards.
