Senior menus for week of June 29

Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

MONDAY: Asian chicken with noodles, vegetables, pineapple and Mandarin oranges and fortune cookies.

TUESDAY: Chile relleno, Spanish rice, sunrise squash blend, Jell-O with pears and churro.

WEDNESDAY: Biscuits and sausage gravy, vegetable juice, fruit cocktail and muffins.

THURSDAY: Hot dogs, baked barbecue potato chips, pea salad, fruit cups, blueberry pie and ice cream.

FRIDAY: Center is closed for Fourth of July.

Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Turkey bean burritos, corn, carrot and raisin salad and canned red cherries.

TUESDAY: Crab salad, beets, crackers, cantaloupe, sherbet and cake.

WEDNESDAY: Chef’s choice.

THURSDAY: Barbecue chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, corn on the cob, low-fat margarine, bread, apple butter and bananas.

FRIDAY: Center is closed for Fourth of July.

Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Ginger and peach glazed chicken, basil and garlic vegetable pasta, whole wheat rolls, margarine, Mandarin oranges and cake.

TUESDAY: Baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, whole wheat rolls, margarine, bananas and cookies.

WEDNESDAY: Tortellini with meat sauce, spinach, garlic and cheese bread, oranges and brownies.

THURSDAY: Barbecue chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, corn on the cob, margarine, bread, apple butter, and bananas.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: Center is closed for Fourth of July.

Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Pizza, wings and salad.

TUESDAY: Swiss steak, egg noodles, vegetables, bread and fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Hamburgers, onion rings, macaroni salad and fruit.

THURSDAY: Chicken cacciatore, glazed carrots, cucumber salad and rolls.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 10-11: Center is closed for Fourth of July.

Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Polish dogs, potato salad, beans, salad and peach cobbler.

TUESDAY: Lasagna, salad, garlic bread and fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken cordon bleu, rice pilaf, vegetables and pudding.

THURSDAY: Stuffed bell peppers, egg noodles, vegetables and apple strudel.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 8:30: Biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, fruit and pastries.
