Judy Hill won $1,071 on March 8 at Carson City Community Bingo, fundraising games held on the second and fourth Sunday of the month for the Carson City Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels program.
The games are run by volunteers of all ages. The pay-out is based on attendance.
According to Carson City Senior Center officials, the cost to operate the Meals on Wheels program continues to rise.
