Artown releases details on its 2015 schedule

Artown will celebrate its 20th anniversary all month long in July with some 500 individual events, exhibits and workshops.

This year, Artown will add a free Sunday evening performance in Midtown, to attract patrons to the burgeoning retail district. Such acts like Rising Appalachia, Tim Snider, Portland Cells Project and Darlingside will perform.

There will also be a World Music Series on Wednesdays in Wingfield Park and the Summer Soires Under the Stars at Bartley Ranch. Some of the notable artists performing include country music stars Clint Black and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
