A real McKeen ride in Carson City

Volunteer Dell Lindstrom stops traffic as the McKeen motor car crosses the road between the Carson City Chamber of Commerce building and the Nevada Railroad Museum Friday. It was the first time the historic McKeen passenger motor car has operated at Thanksgiving time since the 1940s. It operates again today every half hour from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Rides are $8 for adults, $4 for museum members and children aged 4-11, with those 3 or under free.
