For the sixth year in a row, Renown Regional Medical Center was honored by the American Heart Association (AHA) for high quality heart care.

The Get with the Guidelines – Heart Failure Gold Achievement Award recognizes Renown’s commitment and success in continually treating heart patients using the highest standards of care.

Renown Regional has also been awarded AHA’s Mission: Lifeline Heart Attack Receiving Gold Plus honor for treating the most serious type of heart attack that requires timely treatment based on nationally respected clinical guidelines.

This year, Renown Health became the AHA/ASA’s first ever northern Nevada “Life is Why” sponsor — committing to a three-year partnership focused on building healthier lives free from heart disease and stroke.
