EMPLOYERS names new vice president

Ray Wise has been named senior vice president, chief sales officer for EMPLOYERS, a Reno-based insurance company.

Wise, who has 30 years experience in the insurance industry, previously served as president of Vanliner Insurance Co. He also held positions such as chief sales and marketing officer, business insurance, for CNA Financial and senior positions with The Hartford.

Wise earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University.
