Best Hardwood Flooring worked with Nevada State Development Corporation on $1.3 million project

Best Hardwood Flooring LLC has placed a tremendous amount of emphasis on customer service since its founding in 2005 by Miguel A. Estrada-Rodriguez.

Specializing in general construction and flooring installation, Best Hardwood Flooring (BHF) has emerged as a social media darling, receiving the Angie’s List Annual Super Service Award in 2013, 2014 and 2015, as well as many positive reviews on Yelp and Google Plus.

BHF has purchased its own building at 3405 Kietzke Lane in Reno as part of a $1.3 million financing package. Nevada State Development Corporation, the state’s largest SBA 504 loan provider, and Greater Nevada Credit Union assisted with the financing.

“It sounds ironic, but a flooring company was running out of floor space,” Estrada-Rodriguez said in a press release. “Our old location has just over 1,000 square feet for retail and office space and another 1,000 square feet for storage in the basement. We just outgrew our old headquarters, as simple as that. We had to use offsite storage, which costs a pretty penny, for inventory and work in progress. If that wasn’t bad enough, my home garage ended up being packed with storage and other equipment.

“All this work required additional employees, and they need a place to work as well. With our new headquarters, we have almost 20,000 square feet and more than 4,000 square feet for storage, prod-uct, tools and equipment. We welcome this low-interest SBA loan and the opportunity to move into an exceptional new space for the business.”

BHF provides and installs all forms of wood (solid, laminate and engineered) and tile flooring (gran-ite, ceramic, travertine and porcelain) and is expanding its carpeting products and installation ser-vices. The company’s primary market includes the greater northern Nevada region and bordering cities in northern California including Truckee and South Lake Tahoe. Key customers include local construction companies such as Dianda Construction and Kirby Construction, as well as various individual homeowners and business owners throughout the region.

“This move makes so much sense all the way around,” said Roger Kadz, vice president/business development officer with Nevada State Development Corporation in a press release. “Best Hardwood Flooring was able to find an outstanding property available for purchase on Kietzke Lane. This location would be worth thousands of dollars a month in advertising exposure alone if it was a billboard. It also gives the company a much better chance to develop greater walk-in business.”
