United Federal Credit Union breaks ground on second Carson City branch

United Federal Credit Union’s Scott Winger, director of property management; Jim McClenahan, board of directors; and Danny DeLaRosa, market vice president, prepare to break ground on the credit union’s second Carson City branch with Bill Chernock, executive director Carson City Valley Chamber of Commerce. The new branch, at 935 Jacks Valley Road, is expected to open in the late fall, offering loans, mortgages, checking accounts, debit and credit cards, investment planning and business lending. Ground was broken on UFCU’s first branch in Carson City, at 1350 E. William St., in September. It is expected to open in April.
