Gaming win up for November

The Nevada Gaming Control Board last week released its gaming revenue report for November.

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” for the state of $944,265,845 for the month of November 2015. This amounts to a 7.76 percent increase compared to November 2014, when licensees reported a gaming win of $876,244,082.

For the fiscal year (July 1, 2015 through November 30, 2015), gaming win has increased 0.75 percent.

In Washoe County, the gaming win for November increased by 3.37 percent compared to a year ago and 3.45 percent for the fiscal year.

The Carson City/Carson Valley area recorded a decrease of 2.58 percent for November compared to a year ago and an 2.97 percent increase for the fiscal year.

South Lake Tahoe gaming win increased by 17.26 percent in November 2015 compared to November 2014 and decreased by 11.38 percent for the fiscal year.

The State collected $62,027,647 in percentage fees during the month of December 2015, based upon the taxable revenues generated in November 2015. This represents a 30.74 percent (or $14,584,983) increase compared to the prior year’s December, when percentage fee collections were $47,442,664.
