Carson City health inspections

Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for March 10. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Carson City Municipal Golf Course, bar and Eagle’s Landing, 3999 Centennial Park Drive, scored 100 points.

Carson Coffee, 1825 N. Carson St., 100 points.

Daisy’s Store, 3259 E. Highway 50, 100 points.

Pure Ground Ingredients, 2500 Arrowhead Drive, 100 points.

Roundabout Catering & Party, 2201 W. College Parkway, 100 points.

Seven Eleven, 3701 N. Carson St., 100 points.

Tahoe Tenderloins, 110 W. Telegraph St., 100 points.

Vicky Ice Cream, mobile food vehicle, 100 points.

Westside Pourhouse, 110 W. Telegraph St., 100 points.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, 3250 Retail Drive, Suite 100, 99 points. The handles of dispensing utensils were in contact with ready-to-eat foods.

Baskin Robbins, 3947 S. Carson St., 97 points. There was no certified food handler on duty.

Eagle Gas I, 2152 N. Carson St., 96 points. The self-closing mechanism on the bathroom door needed to be repaired. Garbage storage container lids were not closed, corrected on site.

Dotty’s, 2260 E. William St., 96 points. Chlorine residual was missing from the final rinse cycle of the low-temperature dishwasher.

Eagle Gas II, 1360 S. Carson St., 95 points. There was no sign stating bagged ice was sold and manufactured on site. Food was found spilled inside the microwave. The self-closing mechanism on the bathroom door needed to be repaired.

La Posada Real, 3205 Retail Drive, 95 points. Orange juice was found with an expired use-by date, corrected on site. There was no hand cleanser available at the hand sink.

Round Table Pizza, 3325 Retail Drive, Suite 110-115, 91 points. The hand sink in the dish washing room was blocked. The soda dispenser nozzles were dirty. Areas of the kitchen, such as the floor’s splash guard, needed to be cleaned. Caulking behind the three-compartment sink and cabinets under the salad bar were dirty. There was no certified food handler on duty.
