Susan G. Komen Southern Nevada, based in Las Vegas, and Susan G. Komen Northern Nevada, based in Reno, announced today that they are joining forces and will now operate as one entity. The new combined organization, which became effective today, will operate as Susan G. Komen Nevada, and will incorporate the volunteer leadership, grant making relationships and fundraising capacities of both organizations. In addition, both regions will still host their signature annual fundraising event – Race for the Cure – in their origin cities.
