The Bureau of Land Management Elko District, Wells Field Office has approved Newmont Mining Corp.’s Long Canyon Mine Project located on the Pequop Mountain Range about 30 miles east of Wells.
The Notice of Availability for the Long Canyon Mine Project published in the Federal Register on Jan. 9, initiating a minimum 30-day public availability period. The FEIS is available online at http://on.doi.gov/1xYFnbB.
