Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) has been approved for a low- interest loan from the
Nevada Drinking Water State Revolving Fund for the construction of the North Valleys Integration Project. The $15
million loan with an interest rate of 2.62 percent provides TMWA, and its customers, with the lowest fixed-interest
rate possible. The project will secure access to 8,000 acre feet of groundwater resources annually, significantly
increasing TMWA’s drought reserves.
