The Nevada Business Environmental Program at the University of Nevada, Reno along with the Cooperative Extension and the PJ Partnership sponsors a free workshop on biochar, a solid material that can be used to amend agricultural soils.
The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at the C.V.I.C. Hall in Minden.
