Dog trainer opens

Katz Trains Dogs, a firm that pretty much does what its name says, has been opened in Reno by Adam Katz.

Katz, who has been training dogs and their owners for 22 years, also is the author of nine books and 700 articles on dog-training. He said he plans to expand the company to include locations in Carson City and Sacramento.

The 1,300-square-foot Reno center is at 3983 S. McCarran Blvd. Its phone number is 775-341-1717.
