Melissa Gillis

Melissa Gillis has been named graphics and communications specialist for the Washoe County School District.

Gillis previously had been creative director and owner of Flowerpott Design Studio for 22 years. She also was co-owner and vice president of Registered Ink Printing Company for almost 12 years, She is also a member of the adjunct instructor pool for in the graphic communications department of TMCC.

Gillis completed a certificate of achievement in Web design at Truckee Meadows Community College in April, and earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in graphic design with honors with from Montana State University.
