Individuals and businesses in northern Nevada named as finalists for 2015 Governor’s Points of Light Awards presented by the Nevada Volunteers, the Governor’s Commission on Service were:
Northern Nevada individual: Jim McClenahan, Malibu Robertson, and Bill Von Phul.
Rural Nevada individual: Deb Cash, Heidi McFadden, and Mariann Summers.
Nonprofit volunteer program: Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division Volunteer Program, and Trauma Intervention Program of Northern Nevada.
Corporate volunteer program: CenturyLink, Intuit, and Nevada Chapter AGC Education Committee Educator Externship Program.
