Reno Bighorns staff

David Arseneault Jr. has been named head coach of the Reno Bighorns basketball club.

Arseneault Jr. previously spent four seasons as an associate head coach for Grinnell College.

He attended Grinnell where he was a three-time Bob Cousy Award finalist and was NCAA Division III leader in assist average at 9.4.

Ben McDonald has also joined the Bighorns as an assistant coach.

McDonald previously was an assistant for the Erie Bayhawks. He played professionally in the NBA and overseas. He also had assistant coaching stints at University of California, Dominguez and Indiana University.

Scott Schroeder was promoted to director of basketball operations.

He previously served as assistant coach/video coordinator. He also served two seasons in similar capacities with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Jervae Odom will also return for his fourth season as the Bighorns’ lead trainer and equipment manager.
