Sierra Nevada Corp. of Sparks last week received U.S. National Aeronautical Association’s Collier Trophy for its work on the U.S. Navy’s X-47B unmanned combat air system-demonstrator program.
The aircraft is a tail-less, fighter-sized unmanned aircraft able to operate from an aircraft carrier.
