Carson City road report for April 17-23, 2017

The following information applies to the period of April 17-23.

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Caution is advised.

William Street between Curry and Minnesota streets, including the intersections, will be closed from 7 a.m. on Tuesday to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Phillips Street just north of Robinson Street will be closed for about a week starting on Tuesday.

Sophia Street will be closed between Carson and Plaza streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Evan Street will be closed to through traffic between Simone Avenue to Saliman Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Lane closures or restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work.

U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction through April for freeway improvements (travel delays are expected on South Carson Street near the U.S. 50 Spooner junction).

South Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues will have a single northbound lane closure for about a month starting Monday.

South Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues will have a single southbound lane closure from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays.

Stewart Street will have single lane closures between Fifth and William streets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Sonoma Street between Saliman Road and Halleck Drive will have narrowed lanes from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

Plaza Street will have the southbound lane closed between William and Sophia streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Saliman Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Appaloosa Court and Goldfield Avenue from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
