Governor Brian Sandoval signed three energy bills into law at a ceremony on Thursday, June 15 at the Tesla Energy Warehouse in Las Vegas.
The bills include:
- Assembly Bill 405, which will allow rooftop solar customers to be reimbursed for excess electricity generation from their solar systems at 95 percent of the retail electricity rate.
- Senate Bill 146, which requires certain electric utilities in Nevada to file with the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada a distributed resources plan.
- Senate Bill 150, which relates to energy efficiency programs in Nevada.
