Carson High School has begun selling tickets for its third annual Father-Daughter Dance.
The dance will be March 31 from 6 to 9 p.m., at Carson High School. This year’s theme will be Magical Moments with guest features from Princess Jasmine, Aladdin and the Gene.
“(Dads and daughters should come) because it is one of those things in life, it is traditional thing for dads to do with their daughters,” said organizer Angila Golik.
Dads and daughters of all ages are welcome, Golik said they see daughters of all ages bring their dads, brothers, uncles or grandfathers for a night of bonding.
The dance raises money for Carson High Clubs such as SkillsUSA, Photo Club, Leadership Club, Culinary Club and FBLA. In addition, the dance is held the day before prom, so the school gets to use the prom decorations for more than one night.
Tickets are $40 for the father/daughter couple and an additional $10 for each additional daughter. Tickets will be sold until March 17, then again from March 27 through 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Carson High front counter.
Professional photos will also be available for $15 per sheet. Cash and checks are only accepted for photos and paid for at the event.
