The Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors is hosting a Community Recycling and Electronics Recycling Day Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Farmer Market parking lot at Curry and 3rd streets in Carson City.
Suggested is donations of $5 for standard file storage box or electronic devices, or maximum 50 boxes of paper for shedding. Donuts provided by SNAR and coffee from Dutch Brothers with suggested $5 donation. BBQ hamburgers and ht dogs are also available with donation after 10 a.m. Raffle tickets are available for $5 each.
All proceeds will go to benefit Special Olympics Nevada. The event is sponsored by SNAR, Every Home 'A' Classroom, American Document Destruction, Inc., Offsite Data Depot, and Dutch Bros. Coffee.
