Peg's Glorified opens in Southern Nevada

Beginning Tuesday, Peg's Glorified Ham n Eggs based in Reno, is opening its first location in Southern Nevada. Peg's new location is at 9905 S. Eastern Avenue in Henderson and is the second new location opened this year for the popular family-owned breakfast restaurant, which added a location in Lemmon Valley in January. “We are so excited to be opening a restaurant in the Las Vegas area.”  Fred Lee Jr., one of the owners of the  restaurant said in a release. “We have been wanting to expand into southern Nevada for some time now. We hope that customers will like what we have to offer and that this will be the first of many more Peg’s restaurants to open in this area.” Fred Lee Sr. and his wife JoAnna opened their first Peg's restaurant in 1959 in Portland, Ore. They eventually opened 18 restaurants before moving to the Reno area and opening a location in the downtown area in 1999. The family business has since been passed on to their children and grandchildren.
