The Boys & Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows "Literacy is the Cure" Kick-Off Event highlights Adam Silver, commissioner of the National Basketball Association, at its next month.
The event is slated for noon, Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the Pennington Center, 1300 Foster Drive in Reno and is sponsored in in conjunction with the Reno + Sparks Chamber of Commerce. a sack lunch will be provided.
Eric Musselman, men's basketball coach at the University of Nevada, Reno, along with Ann Silver, CEO of The Chamber, will lead introductions and opening remarks.
