Veterans Healing Camp invites the community to the 2nd Annual Concert Under the Stars from 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Veterans Healing Camp property located at 1775 East US Highway 50 in Silver Springs.

Bring the entire family, your picnic basket, chairs and blankets for a car show and live music with Vista Cabaret. Dance under the stars to blues, country, swing and originals.

Food, drinks and ice cream will be available for purchase. Relax and enjoy a fun family event in Silver Springs. Veterans Healing Camp supports a no alcohol environment.

“Everyone is invited to come out and visit the property to honor our veterans,” said Shahla Fadaie, President of Veterans Healing Camp. “There will be great music, food and entertainment for all ages. This year we are adding a classic car show to the event.”

The party starts at 5 with the classic car show. It is only $20 to enter your vehicle and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places. Bring a beach chair or blanket and get a good spot in front of the stage. Take a tour of the Veterans Healing Camp office. Play a game of ping-pong in the rec room. Vista Cabaret will start playing at 7 for a rocking good time. There will also be an appearance by The Way Silver Springs Band. Bring your own picnic or purchase food, soft drinks, water, and ice cream. There will also be a raffle. All proceeds will benefit Veterans Healing Camp.
