Kristen Saibini last month was hired as Development Director at the Nevada Humane Society.
Saibini brings 14 years of professional experience and comes to NHS after spending three years as the Senior Corporate Communication Specialist at NV Energy, according to a March 22 press release.
Prior to NV Energy, Saibini spent time as a Communication Business Partner at Renown Health and was an Assistant Director of Media and Public Relations in the athletics departments at both Ole Miss and the University of Nevada, Reno.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Reynolds School at UNR as well as a master’s degree in Educational Leadership-Higher Education Administration, also at UNR.
Saibini has spent the last three years as an NHS volunteer, according to the release; she also served on the NHS Board of Directors for 2.5 years and was a member of the events committee, as well as the board secretary, in 2020.
