Dr. Trevor May recently purchased the headquarters of his chiropractic practice, located at 2115 Green Vista, Ste. 103, in Sparks, in a transaction valued at $338,000.

The Nevada State Development Corporation facilitated financing for the deal in conjunction with United Federal Credit Union, according to a July 22 press release from NSDC.

Per the release, in starting his own practice, Dr. May will establish his brand, ChiroFIT, which stresses addressing overall health concerns from a biomechanical point of view.

“This allows us to treat the root cause of the issue rather than merely treating the symptoms, an approach that will set my practice apart from the competition,” Dr. May said in a statement.

Dr. May has been practicing chiropractic medicine for five years as an associate doctor at Integrated Spinal Solutions in Reno, according to the release.

ChiroFIT will specialize in non-evasive treatments for disc injuries, which allows patients to avoid surgery, among other areas of practice.

“We congratulate Dr. May on the purchase of his property and on launching his ChiroFIT brand,” Sandy Gordon, vice president/business development officer with NSDC, said in a statement. “This allows ChiroFIT to focus on a new target area for patients, namely Sparks and Spanish Springs, while maintaining the practice’s current client base in Reno.

“Notably, the building is surrounded by other medical offices, which will assist Dr. May and his staff in making new referral partners.”
