Reno-Tahoe AMA celebrates PIVOT Ace Award winners

On July 22, the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association (AMA) celebrated local marketing agencies, organizations, and individuals at the PIVOT Ace Awards at Pigeon Head Brewery.


Nearly 100 award entrants were judged by professionals from Reno-Tahoe AMA’s sister chapter in Charleston, S.C., on best overall quality, key performance metrics, appeal and overall concept.

In addition to 10 submission categories, two individual award categories were added this year: Marketer of the Year and Marketing Newcomer of the Year. Below are the 2021 winners, according to a July 23 press release:

  • Best Brand Rebrand, Stan Can Design, “OneStudio D+A & Identity Lab Brand Development”
  • Best in Digital Marketing, Noble Studios, “#SLOready”
  • Best in Cause-Related Marketing, Nevada Humane Society, “Paws for a Cause Fundraising Campaign”
  • Best in Print, Design on Edge, “Pops on the River”
  • Best in Public Relations, Reno Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority, “#RecycleWithRenoTahoe – Harnessing Creativity to Bring Awareness to Recycling & Sustainability”
  • Best in Web & Digital Design, Commence Studio, “Pharos Academy Website”
  • Best in Social Media, The Abbi Agency, “Edgewood Tahoe Resort: Puzzle Giveaway”
  • Best in Integrated Marketing Campaign, Noble Studios, “Sierra Safely”
  • Best in Video/Film/Commercial, Noble Studios, “Forever Yours”
  • Best in Event Promotion, Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation, “A Giant Event for Childhood Cancer”
  • People’s Choice, Commence Studio, “Pharos Academy Website”
  • Marketing Newcomer of the Year, Amanda Tietjen, Noble Studios
  • Marketer of the Year, Danni Winter, Noble Studios
