Opportunity Alliance Nevada (OANV) recently hired Nathan G. Strong to the role of executive director.

Strong brings years of experience supporting residents in rural Nevada, including most recently as an instructor with the Northern Nevada Literacy Council.

Previously, he served as executive director of the Churchill Economic Development Authority in Fallon (now known as the Churchill Entrepreneur Development Association). He’s held previous roles with the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe, U.S. Census Bureau, Churchill County School District and Western Nevada College.

Strong’s experience working with a statewide organization came serving as the inaugural president of the nonprofit Nevada Economic Development Association, alongside Lynne Keller, NEDA’s original treasurer, according to a July 27 press release from OANV.

Per the release, Strong is conducting an extensive listening tour to engage with the community and funding partners; email him at
