United Federal Credit Union has named Jessica Parmele to the position of Branch Manager at its Spanish Springs branch in Sparks at 2432 Wingfield Hills Road.
Parmele brings more than 15 years of banking and financial experience to her new role, according to an Aug. 16 press release.
Prior to working with United Federal, she was a Manager for Umpqua Bank. Parmele has an associate of liberal arts and associate of general studies degree from Sierra College.
“Parmele lives the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ not only through member service, but also community involvement,” per the release. “She is looking forward to working with United’s nonprofit partners in northwest Nevada, including United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra, Girls on the Run Sierras and the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.”
United Federal also announced Aug. 17 the appointment of Susana Alcala as Mortgage Advisor at its branch at 1170 Bible Way in Reno.
Alcala, who is English/Spanish bilingual, brings more than 14 years of mortgage and financial experience to the role. Most recently, she was a Mortgage Loan Officer for Greater Nevada Mortgage.
“She pairs her industry knowledge with a passion to help people find the right mortgage option for their new home,” according to a press release.
She will also volunteer time with United Federal’s nonprofit partners.
