People: Kimberly Flores joins Nevada Donor Network

The Nevada Donor Network announced Dec. 1 the hiring of Kimberly Flores as a partner liaison in Northern Nevada.

In this role, Flores will support the mission, goals and strategic plan of NDN by building and maintaining relationships with partners, community leaders and businesses through education and outreach designed to maximize organ, eye and tissue donation.


Prior to NDN, Flores spent six years working as program director for Dungarvin, NV LLC, which provides services to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities throughout the state, according to a Dec. 1 press release.


Flores graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2015, earning a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Psychology and Social Work as well as a minor in developmental disabilities. Flores is a certified abuse, neglect and exploitation investigator for Nevada development services and holds a certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.


She is an active member in the community, per the release, volunteering her time to Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada, Neighbor Network of Northern Nevada, Epilepsy Foundation, and ALS Foundation.
