Bill Leonard was elected this month to the board of directors of the NCET, in the role of vice president of communications for Tech Wednesday.
Per a June 2 press release from NCET, Leonard is a lead-generation specialist and owner of Copy Unlocked, a firm that develops business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing campaigns.
He previously held executive positions in sales and marketing with Ignite Marketing, Centex Telemanagement and MCI Telecommunications Corp.
Leonard is a graduate of UCLA and earned a master’s degree in business from The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University.
In addition, Matt Fisher, Andrea Quiruz, Toni Quiruz and Chuck Sweeney were all re-elected to the NCET board, according to the June 2 release, to the respective roles of co-vice president of special projects; vice president of special events; vice president of membership; and co-vice president of special projects.
“NCET is built on a solid foundation thanks to the successful business experience of leaders such as Bill, Matt, Andrea, Toni and Chuck,” Dave Archer, president and CEO of the nonprofit, said in a statement. “We are grateful for their service.”
