PBS Reno President and CEO Kurt Mische has been reelected for another term as Vice Chair of the California Public Television Board.

The board held its annual meeting on July 12, according to an Aug. 24 press release. The current slate of officers was reelected for another one-year term: Darren LaShelle (NorCal Public Media) as President; Mische as Vice President; Andy Russell (PBS SoCal) as Secretary; and David Lowe (KVIE Sacramento) as Treasurer.

“PBS Reno is proud to be a member of California Public Television by virtue of our service to northeastern California,” Mische said in a statement. “I’m honored to continue to serve on the board of this important organizations whose member stations provide so much service to the state.”

Mische, who is also a member of the Nevada Broadcasters Association Board of Directors, is the 2021 chair of the Reno+Sparks Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
