Reno-based marketing and communications firm KPS3 recently hired Tom Kohler to the role of production artist.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, Kohler spent most of his time in the gaming industry working for companies that produced board and card games, according to a Sept. 1 press release.
After a stint at the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon campus where he was a marketing production coordinator, Kohler went back into games to work for Pokémon and then later Jasco Games in Las Vegas.
Kohler moved to Reno in 2016, taking a position at Zero8 Studios before moving on to Foundry. While he has mainly focused on production work, he is also passionate about art, specifically renaissance painters and art nouveau.
