Reno-based marketing and communications firm KPS3 this month announced the addition of Connor Goicoechea as art director.
Goicoechea previously worked at The Abbi Agency for clients such as craft breweries, luxury mountain resorts and travel destinations, among others. He then ran his own freelance business, Connor Goicoechea Design Co.
Goicoechea honed his craft at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media and Human-Centered Design.
During his studies, he served as art director for the school magazine and worked at a couple of local print shops, learning the ins and outs of the trade, according to a KPS3 press release.
“Connor brings a wealth of experience and design acumen in packaging, brand identity and web design,” Michael Leonardini, creative director for KPS3, said in a statement. “He really compliments and rounds out our highly imaginative creative team. I’m confident our clients will benefit greatly with Connor working through creative business solutions."
