Alston Construction has announced Brett Olsen has been promoted to project director in the Amazon Business Unit.
Olsen previously served as the senior project manager for Alston. With over 15 years of experience, he has a plentitude of experience in overseeing and directing construction management, including working directly with contractors regarding project budgets, staffing and scheduling, and ensuring phase completion.
He has developed strong working relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors, which fosters his effective teamwork. Olsen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
As project director, Olsen will be responsible for the general business operations, by directing and overseeing the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of projects. The overall goal of the project director is to ensure operations are effective and comply with company policies and procedures while adhering to industry best practices.
