The Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy has appointed Denise Frohlich as deputy director.

With 14 years of public service experience in state government, local government, and academia, Frohlich will lead GOEs program management staff and ensure smooth agency operations. Most recently, Frohlich served as interim administrator for the Nevada Grant office and deputy administrator for Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records.
As interim administrator, she led and prepared the office through its transition from the Department of Administration to the Governor’s Office. Additionally, she is an adjunct instructor in Western Nevada College’s Organization and Project Management program.
Prior to state service, she served in leadership roles in several higher education institutions in both Nevada and Texas. She holds a Master of Science in leadership and project management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Adelphi University.
