River Valley Community Bancorp with its wholly owned subsidiary, River Valley Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Phil Tissier to vice president/commercial loan officer.
In his new capacity, Tissier will assume a leadership role in the banks’ lending and community outreach in Reno and surrounding communities.
Tissier was born and raised in Reno where he attended Reno High School and is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Prior to joining the bank, he served in the Nevada Air National Guard for 8 years as a civil engineer and was deployed oversees in support of operations in the Middle East.
Tissier started with River Valley Community Bank in 2018 as a loan officer for the banks Grass Valley office and has extensive experience in wealth management, private lending, and government finance.
