Isabelle Rodriguez Wilson, president & CEO of the Nevada Women’s Fund, has announced her retirement effective Feb. 28.

Prior to joining the Nevada Women’s Fund in 2012, she served as executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. In her 10 years, the Nevada Women’s Fund experienced exponential growth in funding and engagement through its donor network and its annual signature event, Salute to Women of Achievement.

Before moving to Reno in 2005, Wilson enjoyed a fascinating career working with international dignitaries, members of Congress, high-level federal and state government officials, corporate and special interest groups and entertainment celebrities. She started her career in our nation’s capital as a legislative analyst developing and implementing marketing and advocacy strategies to lobby the Legislative and Executive branches of government.

She then served the White House as Senior Advisor to the President of the United States. In this role she directed the elaborate details associated with the domestic and international event activities, travel, protocol and media for President Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton.
