PBS Reno receives 2022 telly awards

PBS Reno is thrilled to receive three 2022 telly awards for numerous local productions.
The recognition from the telly awards comes one week after PBS Reno received seven 2022 communicator awards for its work on the air.

ARTEFFECTS segments featuring Gardnerville-based potter Troy Drake, Reno-based influencer and seamstress Sarah Hambly, and the locally-produced music video Heartbeat to Heartbeat, Eye to Eye earned a 2022 silver telly in the television documentary series category.

PBS Reno also earned two 2022 bronze telly awards in entertainment and corporate image categories, respectively; one for Wild Nevada Memories (episode 109) and a second for a promotional sizzle acknowledging PBS Reno’s history since its inception on September 29, 1983. The telly awards received more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents.

PBS Reno is honored to receive recognition this year alongside submissions from PBS, ESPN, NBC, Hearst Media, and many reputable institutions.
