Schultz Financial Group is pleased to announce Alyssa Yocom recently earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor certification.
Yocom is one of nine financial services professionals in Reno to have obtained the CPWA certification and one of two women in Reno to obtain the certification.
The CPWA designation is an advanced professional certification for advisors who provide the breadth of specialized skills required to meet the needs of high-net-worth clients. To earn the certification, professionals must meet a five-year experience requirement, successfully complete coursework in advanced wealth management strategies, and pass a comprehensive examination covering 11 core topics including applied behavioral finance, charitable giving, estate planning, and wealth transfer.
Yocom graduated from UNR with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and majors in finance and economics. She also earned her master’s degree in financial planning. In addition to her CPWA certification, Yocom is also a certified financial planner professional. She is on the board of the Planned Giving Round Table of Northern Nevada and is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northern Nevada, and the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada’s Professional Advisors Council.
