People: Katey Lundy joins PBS Reno

PBS Reno has expanded its team with the hire of Katey Lundy.

Lundy will serve as the station’s educator manager II and will enhance the station’s reach into local classrooms in northern and central Nevada.

Lundy is a former elementary school teacher from the Washoe County School District and Master Academy of Northern Nevada. She will assist with the deployment of thousands of PBS Reno Curiosity Classroom Workshops in Washoe County, Carson City, Douglas County, Elko County, Lyon County, Humboldt County and White Pine County.

The addition of Lundy to the team will ensure PBS Reno can meet this growing need for free educational materials in local classrooms.
