People: Ryan Riggan graduates from School of Banking at Colorado

Plumas Bank has recently announced the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado concluded its 71st Annual School Session, awarding 169 community bankers and regulators from across the nation with its prestigious diploma in banking.

Ryan Riggan, Plumas Bank’s vice president SBA credit manager was recognized with honors for performing in the top 10 percent of this year’s graduating class.

Riggan joined Plumas Bank in 2016 and was promoted to vice president, credit manager of the small business lending group in 2021. He is responsible for management of the SBA loan underwriting and servicing team, as well as oversees the department’s loan presentations.

His contributions have helped Plumas Bank achieve consistent recognition as a top-10 lender in the Sacramento SBA District for number of loans originated.

Riggan has 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the banking industry having worked for national, regional and community banks. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in business management and makes Reno his home.
