People: Steve Schiller honored for time at Ticor Title of Nevada

Steve Schiller, president of Northern Nevada Operations for Ticor Title of Nevada is celebrating 20 years with Ticor and its parent company, Fidelity National Financial.

Schiller began his career in the title and escrow industry in Reno in 1985. He has held numerous positions throughout his career, from courier to customer service, title examiner, sales executive, and several management positions.

In December 2003, Schiller joined Ticor Title to open and manage Northern Operations. Along with his mentor Bill Hanks, Schiller opened the Reno Ticor Title offices in 2004.

Since 2004, Schiller has grown the operations to include 7 locations in Reno, Carson City, Gardnerville, Fernley, and Incline Village; manages over 60 employees; and services 5 Northern Nevada counties.
